We’re looking for a Research Analyst Trainee to join our core research team at Bastion Research — the team behind deep-dive equity research that cuts through the noise.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in researching and writing equity reports on Indian listed companies.
- Analyze financial statements, investor presentations, and earnings calls.
- Maintain models, trackers, and company-specific data.
- Support senior analysts with prep work and background research.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in listed Indian equities.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Tools and basic accounting/valuation concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret annual reports without falling asleep.
- Curious mindset, willingness to learn, and a healthy disrespect for jargon.
- Clear written communication — if you can explain P&L dynamics in plain English, you’re already ahead.
Good to Have (but not mandatory)
- Experience with basic financial modeling.
- Exposure to Screener.in, Tijori, Trendlyne, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of sectors like Pharma, Chemcials, BFSI, etc. is a bonus.
